Itoken + jimanica + Yamaguchi Takashi
A new type of trio presenting organic and mechanical music, consisting of a drums duo (Itoken and Jimanica) and geometrical pop images by visual artist, Yamaguchi Takashi. Their interactive “live installation,” in which two sets of drums control images and the said images play music through a synchronization of the instruments and images, has been attracting attention since Itoken/Jimanica/Ymg first performed in 2006. This attention comes not only from the music industry, but also from those working in broader artistic contexts.

In 2000 , made for Playstation game music "Dig a dig pukka!". World exchanges are very active , now there are the unit wtih Klimperei and the unit with Ferdinand Richard.
Jimanica (drums, edit)
Drummer/Laptop musician.
Born in Tokyo in 1975, he started playing drums at 15 years old. After graduating from the Faculty of Visual Arts at Musashino Arts University, he made the move to New York in 1998 to begin a career as a freelance drummer. The year 2000 brought him back to Tokyo, where he soon formed the band 'moai' amongst a series of activities as a session player on numerous recordings and live performances. In 2005, he unveiled his electronic/noise-based solo project 'Jimanica', releasing his first drum solo album 'Entomophonic' from the vanguard 'mao' label.
Takashi Yamaguchi (visual programming)
Born in 1976 in Kyoto. In 1998, Yamaguchi entered Namco, and worked in game development and CG film production. He won an award at Siggraph 2001 Electronic Theater. After leaving Namco in 2002, he participated in Tachibana Hajime Design, and later became independent. He takes on a wide range of activities including motion graphic production, graphic design, and interactive art, often utilizing programming.
